Every Easter and October long weekends, Poley’s Place hosts a Country Music Hoedown on the banks of the beautiful Barrington River. The Hoedowns have been in operation since 1980 and feature great country music artists and musicians.
There are many secluded and quiet camping spots at affordable rates to set up camp in amongst beautiful shady river oaks, willows and bottlebrush trees. Amenities include hot showers, BBQ canteen and family entertainment.
The 2015 October Country Music Hoedown line up includes Tanya Lee, Greg Bain, Henry “Possum” Hollis, Julie Pascoe, Barry Anderson, The Gibsons, Glenn Wright, Double Trouble (Graeme Doubleday & Big Al Herbert) and Ken “Chainsaw” Lindsay. And don’t miss the Poley’s Place Band: Brian Quartermaine, Matthew Capper, Dennis Hiscock and Levi Neave.
Come for the weekend and camp, or just visit for a day.
