Sinfonia In Concert | Sunday 15 Nov 2015

Travel the world through music with Sinfonia Mid North Coast who are back in Gloucester as part of their ‘Intercontinental Visa’ concerts. Several Gloucester residents play in Sinfonia including violinist Juen VanHand (Orchestra Leader), Marnie Johnstone (viola), Michelle Dunlop, Laura Dunlop, Anne Van Breukelen (2nd Violin) and they will be joined by Gloucester Public School Choir, recent winners of the Taree Eisteddfod who will be singing Dry Your Tears Africa with Kantabile Chamber Choir.

Sinfonia has been established since 1999 and is constantly evolving with changes to both players and conductors. We have two young vibrant conductors in Heidi Lambert and assistant Iain Pole who have chosen music from all over the world including America with Hoe Down that is sure to get your toes tapping, Scotland with the Banks of Doon, Italy with Anvil Chorus from Il Trovatore, France with March to the Scaffold, and off into space with Star Wars, as well as many other well known and popular tunes.
