What’s On in Gloucester | 2-8 Nov 2015

A weekly wrap-up of things to do in Gloucester: events, activities and fun stuff too. Special feature this week is the Gloucester Platypus Festival, a family-friendly celebration of sustainable living and the iconic platypus that inhabits our pristine catchment:

  • Markets: Enjoy fresh local food and artisan products  at the Festival Market;
  • Music and fun: Fantastic sounds from soulful performer Ty Soupidis, the bluegrass magic of The Grasscutters, the percussion perfection of Junk Percussion for drum and dance workshops on recycled materials;
  • Performance theatre with a sustainable message by Soulfire Circus and workshops by Wildcraft Australia to learn skills for spending unexpected time in the wilderness.
  • Get a photo with Platypus Pete and go platypus spotting on the beautiful Barrington River.
