National Tree Day planting in Gloucester District Park, Sunday 31 July 2016

National Tree Day | Sun 31 July 2016

Yes, tree-huggers really do save the world and with just a little effort you can help rehabilitate the Gloucester River within Gloucester District Park. The Gloucester Environment Group meets regularly to weed, plant and maintain several critical riverbank areas within the Gloucester District Park and King George V Memorial Park.  Tools and equipment for planting will be provided, this is a great activity to teach kids about the environment.

It’s your river in your town, why not lend a hand to keep it safe for future generations to also enjoy?

Organised by the Gloucester Environment Group, for full details call Penny on 6558 1845 or at www.treeday.planetark.org/site/10012385
