The latest exhibition at the Gloucester Gallery is the body of works submitted by Gloucester High School students for the 2016 HSC Visual Art elective subject. The 2016 students bring a variety of forms and ideas to the exhibition displaying a range of depth and skill in their final works. These students have worked consistently for the past months to get their work to the high standard that’s now displayed.
To complete their artwork, students select a media area or expressive form. The students are marked on the depth of engagement that they achieve in their body of work.Works are marked out of fifty and receive a school based mark (internal mark) and then they are marked by a team of markers from the Board of Studies (external mark). Any work that achieves a top 10% mark will be automatically considered for the annual Artexpress exhibition.
