Gloucester River Winery – 51 Stantons Lane, Gloucester

Make a good start at Gloucester River Winery and you’ll enjoy the most scenic setting of any winery in the Gloucester valley with intimate views of the impressive Buccan Buccans (the Bucketts Mountains). Villa d’Esta Winery – 2884 Wallambah Road, Dyers Crossing

The scenic drive east from Gloucester towards the coast on Wallambah Road takes you to Villa d’Esta Winery. The journey is well worth it, with a selection of easy-drinking styles suitable for the table and ready to be enjoyed in the short term. The proprietors, the manager and the winemaker all share a Hungarian heritage and have adopted traditional Hungarian winemaking techniques. Gap Hill Vineyard – 8 Gap Hill Rd, Stroud Road

Located in the village of Stroud Road south of Gloucester, Gap Hill Winery grows awesome veldelho. Vigneron Brian Eastoe loves his work: “We find that the Stroud “terroir” is just right for producing quality verdelho.
