Kids Club at The Steps

High Ropes – scale to the top of a eucalyptus tree and soar through the air like a flying possum.
Canoe Games – avoid being ‘sunk’ in Battleships, and shoot some goals during canoe polo.
Abseiling – take the challenge and test your fear of heights, you’ll feel invincible when you do.

Horse riding at Camp Cobark

Pony Camp at Camp Cobark is all about meeting new friends, learning new skills and having a great time in the process. Suitable for 8 to 16 years. The camp duration is 5 days from Sunday 7 Jan to Friday 12 Jan, cost is $450 which includes a horse, accommodation and meals. Book 6558 5585
Trail Rides
at Camp Cobark can be for 1 or 2 hours or for the more adventurous half or full days. Learn authentic horse riding skills from a genuine bush stockman. Book 6558 5585

Horse riding at Riverwood Downs

Enjoy the spectacular views on a 1.5 hour fully supervised walking trail ride over 5kms with one of the locals who really knows the valley. Kids aged 10-14 years must be accompanied by a parent/guardian on the trail ride. Led horse rides are also available, each child on the led horse ride must have a parent/guardian to lead the horse. Mountain Biking at The Steps

Looking for some outdoor activity off the river? The Steps Mountain Bike Park is the only purpose-built bike park in the region & features 3.5kms of cross-country trails with multiple challenges and a skills area for practicing body position, balance, gearing, braking, cornering and riding obstacles. It’s $5 for day-use.


White water paddling tours on the Barrington River

Mountain Maid Gold Mine Tours at Copeland

Swimming at the Olympic Pool or where the platypus play

The perfect place to cool off is right in town!
