A short drive around Gloucester takes you to several boutique wineries open for wine tasting throughout the long weekend with beautiful views to match their wines.

Gloucester River Winery – 51 Stantons Lane, Gloucester

Open Saturday to Monday inclusive 10am-5pm. Make a good start at Gloucester River Winery and you’ll enjoy the most scenic setting of any winery in the Gloucester valley with intimate views of the impressive Buccan Buccans (the Bucketts Mountains). Tugwood Winery – 450 Mograni Creek Rd, Gloucester

Open Saturday to Monday inclusive 10am-4pm. Located in a scenic valley under the stunning Mograni Mountains to the east of town. Gap Hill Winery – 8 Gap Hill Rd, Stroud Road

Located in the village of Stroud Road south of Gloucester, Gap Hill Winery grows awesome veldelho. Vigneron Brian Eastoe loves his work: “We find that the Stroud “terroir” is just right for producing quality verdelho. Villa d’Esta Winery – 2884 Wallambah Rd, Dyers Crossing

Open Saturday to Monday inclusive 10am-5pm. The scenic drive east from Gloucester towards the coast on Wallambah Road takes you to Villa d’Esta Winery. The journey is well worth it, with a selection of easy-drinking styles suitable for the table and ready to be enjoyed in the short term.
