Every Easter and October long weekends, Poley’s Place hosts a Country Music Hoedown on the banks of the beautiful Barrington River near Gloucester. The hoedowns have been in operation since 1980 and feature great country music artists and musicians. Come for the weekend and camp, or just visit for a day.
There are many secluded and quiet camping spots at affordable rates to set up camp in amongst beautiful shady river oaks, willows and bottlebrush trees. Amenities include hot showers, BBQ canteen, small animal park, night security and family entertainment.
The 2018 October Country Music Hoedown line up includes Katie Bagnall, Greg Bain, Marie Hodson, Christina George, Double Trouble’s Dubby & Big Al, Donnie Soper & Ken “Chainsaw” Lindsay. And don’t miss the Poley’s Place Band: Brian Quartermaine, Matthew Capper, Levi Neave, Dally Croft, Joey Croft, Donnie Soper plus many walk-ups!
