The Billabong Park is a well appointed shaded park within a short walking distance to downtown Gloucester. Separated into two regions via a suspension bridge.

South area facilities include;

  • Park area (60m x 100m)
  • Central stage (5m x 5m) with power
  • BBQ area – 3 x 10 amp external power outlet
  • BBQ area – 1 x 15 amp external power outlet
  • BBQ area – 2 x electric hotplates
  • Outdoor sink area with access to fresh water tap underneath (will need to be unlocked)
  • Amenity block – 3 x male toilets
  • Amenity block – 4 x female toilets
  • Amenity block – 1 x Disabled toilet (MLAK access)
  • Amenity block – 6 x external power outlets
  • Amenity block – water bottle refill station
  • Picnic tables – 2 uncovered
  • Picnic tables – 4 covered
  • Parking – 50 parking spaces available in Billabong Lane car park
  • Large bus drop off zone

North area facilities include;

  • Park area (60m x 180m)
  • Kids bike path
  • Skate park
  • Playground zone
  • BBQ area – 2 x 10amp external power outlet
  • BBQ area – 2 x electric hotplates
  • Picnic tables – 2 uncovered
  • Picnic tables – 7 covered
  • Fresh water tap and bubbler near the BBQ area
  • Parking – 30 parking spaces available in Boundary Street

Hire fee / Bookings

No bookings are required for general use of the park however it should be noted that the park is used for the Gloucester Farmers Market 2nd Saturday each month from 6.30am to 12noon. And craft markets on the Saturday of every long weekend throughout the year.
